Whether we like to admit it or not, from time to time in each of our lives discouragement creeps in. Sometimes it’s deep and profound, and other times it’s minimal and moderate. Sometimes it lingers, while other times it quickly passes. But regardless of its intensity or duration, discouragement is not something to deny, ignore, or simply dismiss. Since even great servants of God experienced discouragement, it’s important for us to acknowledge discouragement when it appears and deal with it biblically. So this sermon looks at a passage in the second chapter of Second Corinthians where we find a Biblical prescription for discouragement.
