Most of us won't have the dilemma the rich man in Jesus' parable in Luke 12 had: too much wealth and not knowing what to do with it. Instead, often our dilemma is not having enough to see us through to the next pay check. So from the danger of covetousness/greed Jesus turned to a connecting danger - worry. While covetousness/greed can never get enough, worry is afraid it may not have enough. But rather than just telling us not to worry (as in the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy!") Jesus explains why we are not to worry as well as how to keep from worrying.
