The three scenes described in the 10th chapter of the gospel of Luke illustrate the three-fold ministry of every Christian and what it is we should be doing as follower of Christ. This sermon looks at the second scene when an expert of the law asked Jesus a question which He answered by telling a story about a Samaritan helping a needy traveler. Concluding as He does with the words, "Go and do likewise," Jesus sends us as His agents of mercy out into the world, lovingly helping our neighbors in need.
