Whether we realize it or not, we each exert a certain measure of influence in the sphere in which we live, which would include family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and acquaintances such as the mechanic who repairs our vehicle, the beautician who does our hair, the letter carrier who delivers our mail, the bank teller who deposits our money, and the store cashier who scans our groceries. As we think about our influence in their lives, Jesus reveals two ways committed followers of His influence their world.
