When God's Son came into our world as a baby born in Bethlehem, instead of the usual ways that are used to announce such an event God chose to reveal the birth of His Son to a group of anonymous shepherds. And while we are told of the shepherds' actions prior to finding the Babe lying in a manger as well as what they did after seeing Him, we can only assume what they did when they found Him based on what they were told about Him by the angel. So in this sermon we look through the window of worship to see the shepherds' response to the events of the very first Christmas.
